Our office participated in the Great Washington Shake Out. We dropped, covered and held on. To practice for an earthquake. This is my coworker Jill under her desk. We learned a couple things today.
1. Not all people take drills serious.
2. I need a taller desk. Especially if I have to be under it in case of aftershocks. It is a bit too cozy under there.
3. Stop, drop and roll is only appropriate if you are on fire. It isn't for earthquake drills (darn)
4. It is important for the person running the drill to announce an "all clear" or I will stay under my desk.

you should tape a soduko book or something equally fun under your cozy desk just in case you ever have to practice your new-found skill. Also maybe a snickers bar would be good.
Good idea!
