We were busy Saturday. We loaded 620 pounds of branches and dropped them of at the dump. Let me tell you that is a lot of branches. The sad part is that this isn't our first load and it won't be the last. You know that you have a full load when you have to climb on top of it to crush it down a bit to fit the last pile. The best part of hauling away these branches is that we were the envy of the other people unloading their yard waste. Thanks to Dad's handy tarp crank thing (pretty sure that is an official name). He has a tarp that lays in the bottom of the trailer than you can just crank it up and it pulls the branches right off. It is slick. The guys that were unloading their trucks were jealous. Dad cranked and I pulled the truck forward. We left a perfectly rectangle pile of branches. Yep, nothing better than being the envy of the recycling yard.
